We stayed at home, because every day is honeymoon!
What makeup, jewellery, accessories? I didn't even wear shoes :) My stepdaughter did do my hair ever so slightly :) I went for the natural approach. And the dress was kind of plain Jane as well!
We got married at Universitasrif NG church. We had our braai there as well. Guests stayed all over Bloemfontein at friends or family. The pre-party was the day before at Maselspoort so some of them stayed over there.
None such things. I think I actually picked up weight!
No décor except for a friend sponsoring a huge colorful bowl of Barberton daisies.
The groom wore jeans and a white shirt. No groomsmen.
No bridesmaids, but I did have three flower girls, although one of them was a boy. They wore whatever their parents bought them.
The bride and groom.
I had 5 friends who took random photo's during the course of the event. The result was stunningly natural captures!
Nope.
A normal white Hyundai IX35. It was the car of the friend of mine where I got dressed. Another friend (one of my photographers) decided to wash it just 30 minutes before the wedding :)
It was a bring and braai, so everybody prepared their own food, except for the pap and sous, as well as all the salads, that friends provided.
The wedding cake was a mixed breed of a chocolate mousse cake made by a friend's sister and cupcakes baked by a friend and I the day before.
What stationery?
As we are musicians and hace all the electronic equipment one needs, we were our own DJ's. We made up a playlist beforehand and just pressed play.
It was a bring and braai on grass, so no formal dancing.
