The Highlight of my wedding day was waking up to my dream dress hanging in front of me and seeing my husband get emotional as I walk down the isle
We were invited to stay at a magnificent Beach house in Southbroom.
I wanted a very natural look for our wedding. We love nature and what God created, I added a bit of vintage simply because I believe I am a golden oldie
My dress was also cover with a very old vintage lace and of course I had the pearls to go.
I also wanted to keep my hair natural and simple so I had soft curls pinned to the side.
Our wedding was celebrated at Mongena Game Lodge, Hammanskraal
Most of our guest joined us for the weekend, this spectacular venue offers all kinds of African safaries for guest so we decided to spoil our guest with a river boat cruise where we spotted hippos and crocs and a amazing South African Buffet Braai on the Friday evening before to also say Thank you for travelling far distances to be with us on our special day
My Bridal Beauty Regime was not too hectic
Tables had beautiful flower arrangements on the Doillies as underplates which really created the vintage feeling I wanted, I had a white table cloth with a glitter overlay to give off sparkle and elegance.
We had beautiful wiskey and wine glasses sandblasted on as gifts for the guest that were also placed with all cutlery and crockery.
My main flowers were sunflowers with a peach and auburn colour roses and lots and lots of greenery and fairylights drapped everywhere...
The same glitter material was also used in the chapel drapped over tge benches and chairs.
We had a bubble machine and lit a unity boma as we entered for the reception.
