My most favorite part of the whole day was the moment i walked down the isle with my dad both of us trying so hard not to burst into tears... and then seeing my husband waiting for me, his face and the most intense connection we ever had, our eyes fixed only on each other.
That was not only the greatest part of the day but of my life!
We did go on Honeymoon!
We went to the beautiful blue Phuket in Thailand.
Was so beautiful!
The look i was going for is a soft Bohemian bride look as the wedding vibe was very bohemian.
I wore a Sincerity wedding dress from Bridal Manor-This beautiful design offers a sheath silhouette with a Dramatic Illusion Back & Soft lace detailing from top to toe.
My hair was softly pinned up to the side topped off with a flower crown ( Dream Canvas).
My makeup was done by Makeup @benjakkals ( Bennedy Visagie), just soft and elegant.
Shoes- i wore “vellies” as the ceremony and reception took place outside under the stars.
Jewel- Pearl earrings all the way from The Wilderness, Knysna, as a wedding gift from my husband.

The whole Wedding Theme was like a Bohemian Picnic under the stars in a forrest.
The Ceremony and Reception took place on our Family Farm in Limpopo, Farm Goedvoor. Close family stayed at the family farm house and everyone else at a nearby Self Catering Lodge called Oppieplaas.
I am a very natural person, very down to earth and casual... as i only went on the 28 day eating plan a month before the wedding to get a bit into shape.
Our wedding was mostly a DIY wedding.
Flowers were done by Dream Canvas. Beautiful Proteas in brown bottles on the tables and floral runner on main table.
Our colour scheme was Burgandy, Gold, Green and soft Pink.
All decor except flowers were made by Bride and Groom and Family. We even made our own tables out of pallets.
Only chairs, glasses and jugs were hired.
Food was all done by bride and groom and family presented to each person on the table in a picnic food box with wooden cutlery.
The lightning was our favorite as we draped all the surrounding trees with fairy lights, and curtain fairy lights sourrounding the dancefloor also fairy lights haning over tables and across the dancefloor creating the most beautiful fairytale wedding.
The Groom wore a beautiful Navy Blue suit bought from Woolworths, accessorized with brown shoes, a brown belt, wooden boutonnière, polka dot socks, Burgandy tie and personalized made cufflinks from the bride.
The groomsmen wore chino pants and a white shirt, accessorized with Burgandy suspenders , bowtie and wooden boutonnières with also brown shoes and a brown belt also matching polka dot socks.
Being the bride that wants to keep everyone happy and comfortable in their own skin, each bridesmaid had their own dress made or made it themselves. Colour inspired by any shade of Burgundy, Marsala or Maroon.
Makeup and hair also done as they felt comfortable with, accessorized with beautiful pearl earrings as part of gift from the bride.
We had the MOST sweetest Pastor from our nearby church on Tuinplaas, Limpopo. Pastor S. Van Schalkwyk from the AP Kerk.
We had the most wonderful Photographers. Simone Venter Photography ( Simone and her assistant). They made every moment so special for us making us always feel comfortable and they are so fun, loving and crazy! Absolutely loved them!
Absolutely not... everything was planned by the Bride and Groom and we just went with everything and everything turned out more than the perfect day!
This was so much fun!!! Our wedding car was a local Donkey Cart. The bride and her bridesmaids arrived at the Ceremony on the donkey cart... they were so cute!
Most of the food was prepared by family members. Also the wedding cake was made by the bride’s sister in law.
All stationary was designed by the bride and groom and locals were used for the printing.
The party was sooo much fun! Absolutely everyone danced the entire evening thanks to our DJ ( Schalk Burger and his team).
And no, we did not go for dance lessons.
