We went to the beautiful Indonesia a few days after the wedding. Such a lovely experience. Spent 8 nights in Bali and 4 nights on the Gili islands close to Lombok. The honeymoon was filled with snorkling with turtles, cocktail drinking, amazing views, monkeys, buggy 4x4 drives through rice paddies, traditional balinese dances, temples, beautiful sculptures and architecture, yoga, mei goreng (fried noodles), etc...
I don't know how to describe my wedding look, but one thing I was sure of, was that I wanted a different look. Not just the normal wedding dress. I got into contact with Inge Coetzer Designer Studio. She made me this amazing dress. The beaded mermaid dress came with a detachable skirt that created the train at the back. Later I took it off for easy movement and dancing. The straps had diamante detail on.
For my hair I went for a more simple look. I love french plats.

We got married at the stunning Blomfontein wedding venue. It is close to Cradock in the Eastern Cape. This beautiful venue is found on a farm between the mountains and it can accommodate 140 guests.
Most guests arrived the Friday before our wedding already for a braai and stayed the whole weekend.
