We weren't able to go on honeymoon due to my husband not being able to take leave and we weren't financially able to either. But we will one day ;)
We got married at the beautiful Zululand Yacht Club in Richards Bay. Best backdrop I've ever witnessed!! Blue skies after a morning of severe rains! Beautiful sea and Yachts.
I had a very rustic look and very simple decor. It was more about having all our loved ones there for the occasion then about the look. Mt parents put in alot of time and effort to make it look exactly how we envisioned. It was simple and perfect.
Wood/Hessian/baby's breath & Gerbera daisies
Groom and groomsmen wore burgundy pants and white long sleeve shirts all bought at Mr Price with brown shoes. They looked very handsome!
Long burgundy skirts with white strappy tops tucked in. Each had a baby's breath crown on their heads. They all looked amazing!!
My childhood pastor Larry Chasenski
Candice Butcher and Trevor Kluckow from Richards Bay
No. With the help of my parents I was able to plan the whole wedding myself.
My father drives a Blue Ford Eco Sport and one of my friends has the exact same car, so me and my maid of Honor in one and the other 4 bridesmaids in the other.... with loud music blaring in each car singing our lungs out. So much fun!!
My father who is a chef and his brother did all the food and my step mother who is a baker made us an incredible 13 tier (separate tiers) cake. There were different flavours. The flavours were: chocolate mouse, coconut & lemon, fig & chocolate, red velvet.
I designed and printed it all myself.
No dancing lessons. We all partied the night away to amazing music by DJ Clay from Empangeni. My husband is in a band and they play at lots of weddings but he got the night off ;)
