I'm a very emotional person and was so scared that I would cry so much that my makeup would be ruin. I shaked so much when my dad brought me into the church but the moment I saw Tim standing in front of the church, with a hug smile on his face, a calm feeling came over me. Just seeing how he looked at me, with so much love, was the highlight for me
We booked our honeymoon threw Creative Honeymoon Solutions. It was a six night stay in the Garden Route, two nights in Plettenberg Bay where we stayed at An Ocean View Watch, two nights in Knysna where we stayed at Brenton on Rocks and two nights at Wilderness where we stayed at Porcupine Pie Boutique Lodge.
First night in Plett we had a nice romantic dinner at Zinzi Restaurant with a personalized menu just for us.
The next day we had wine tasting and a private lunch at Newstead wines. We than went to Tsitsikama and did the canopy tours.
In Knysna we went to spend some time with the rehabilitated birds at Radical Raptors and then afterwards for some Belgium chocolate tasting at La Carla Mask and Hot Chocolate Cafe. We than made our way to the Knysna Elephant Sanctuary where we spend some time with the beautiful Elephants.
The next day we went back to Plett to go to Monkey Land and than back to Knysna for a back massage at Le Spa Tranquille than for a boat trip on the John Ben.
On our way to Wilderness we just had to do the quad bikes at Adventure X and had a quite afternoon at the Lodge with a nice picnic for two. The next day we drove to Botlierskop Game Reserve for a game drive and lunch.
We really had a honeymoon to remember.

We got married in the little rustic Koelenhof Catholic Church and had our reception just down the road at the beautiful Klein Joostenberg.
Mr & Mrs M provide a fantastic entertainment service for wedding guests during that rather awkward "Photo-Hour". It's fun, affordable and very classy!
My husband and his groomsmen wore navy blue suit's with white shirts, black ties, brown shoes and brown belts. My husband also wore a waistcoat and the groomsmen suspenders
My bridesmaid's wore three different colour one shoulder dresses. The colours were soft pink, baby blue and lilac. I got the idea from a random picture on the internet and that is how I decided on the colour scheme
The lovely Father Craig Holmes the Catholic Priest from the Parow Valley Mater Dei Parish
We used Shoot by design. Their team consisted of two photographers, Dee Walters who is the mamma bear, Bianca Walters, Dee's daughter and the crazy Darren the videographer.
No my husband and I did everything ourselves and the vendors knew what they were doing. We worked with highly recommended people
The wedding transport was probably the highlight fornmy husband.
We had two vintage Volkswagen split windows kombis that we hired from the highly recommended Vintage Vans and Vintage Kombi hire. Their drivers were crazy and loads of fun
The food was prepared by Klein Joostenbergs in-house chef Christophe Dehosse and his team. Mouth watering gourmet cuisine's worth every penny spent.
Our cake was done by Justine from Cake couture by Justine. Ate some of the cake a week after the wedding and it was still yummy.
We designed our own save the dates, invites and thank you cards and was printed by Formset Printers
We had a jol. No lessons taken but enjoyed every minute of the day.
Our lightning was down by Chrisna from Chrisna's Function Hire. She also did my decor.
We were fortunate to have Richard Green, who is a multifaceted DJ, MC, Radio presenter and my husband's cousin
