After a restless night of rolling around I opend my eyes and in a few seconds I realised that IM GETTING MARRIED TODAY!!! With lots of nerves and excitement my bridesmaids and I packed out the final decorations for the wedding reception. What a rush!!! Finally I walked backwards and an overwhelming feeling of amazement and relieve came over me as I was looking at my dream reception. All the late nights cutting, painting, making to do lists and so much more was definitely worth while!!
Now it was time to get ready!!!! What a wonderful morning with my girls! With some campaign and music we had a ball getting beautified by my awesome Makeup and Hair team (Salon Megz)
Before I knew it, it was time to put on my wedding dress! What a wonderful, spesicial moment it was when I turned around and saw myself. I was a bride and I felt beautiful!!
We looked at the time and it was time to go!! My dad with his very nervous daughter got ready to walk down the aisle. My favourite song started to play, I looked up and saw my husband to be. The nerves suddenly disappeared and got replaced with butterflies in my stomach. I am marrying my best friend!!

After taking some family photos it was time for the whole wedding party to go on a game drive. The wildlife was amazing and it felt like all the animals came out to join the photo shoot. We had an amazing time taking beautiful photos, laughing an posing all the way.
Reception time!!! Hearing our MC pronouncing us as Mr and Mrs Viljoen was the highlight of the night!! The reception was beautiful and all our family and friends was there to celebrate our special day with us. After cutting the cake it was time to open the dance floor. Our first dance will always be one of my most memorable moments of our wedding day.
The rest of the night was filled with laughter and joy. We all danced the night away!!

Yes we did! I don’t now how, but my husband managed to organise our honeymoon without me knowing anything. I just packed some clothes and hoped I packed everything I needed. Finally I got my ticket at the airport. We were going to Mozambique!
It was a fantastic experience. Mozambique was beautiful!! We explored wonderful beaches and also enjoyed snorkelling in the clear water. I have never been so relaxed in my live!
Mozambique is definitely the place to go for the best honeymoon!
I did not have a specific look that I was going for. I just wanted to feel like a beautiful bride.... and be comfortable of course.
I always wanted to wear a flower crown, so that was the only must. I fell in love with a dress at the second shop I went too. I felt beautiful in the dress. I loved the lice falling off my shoulder. It gave the dress a very soft, elegant look.
My shoes had pearls on them and that worked wonderfully with my late grandma’s pearls I wore on my wedding day.
We got married at Buffelsfontein Game and Nature Reserve.
It was the most perfect venue, with the most beautiful views, wildlife and reception hall.
The service was fantastic and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Our venue also had a big guesthouse and a few chalets for our guests to stay at.
The biggest goal I set for myself was to loose wait before my special day.
I started Banting 8 months before the wedding and also went running 3-4 times a week. I lost 13kg before my wedding! I felt even more beautiful and confident.
Our venue was beautified even more with wonderful decorations and flowers by Aarblom. We used yellow, white, green flowers in our centre pieces. I folded paper roses with map paper, as our theme for our wedding was "Pad na jou hart". The groom and his groomsmen looked very handsome in their navy blue suits (Remmingstons Suit Hire). They added a touch of colour with their wooden bow ties and leather suspenders.
My bridesmaid looked stunning in their velvet long sleeved navy blue dresses, that looked beautiful with their white flowers and light yellow nails.
