We met at work. We were teaching at the same school. It was not love at first sight. After 6months of working together he asked my number from a friend to wish me happy birthday. And we never stoped talking... It was school holiday I went to visit friends in Cape Town and as it turned out I needed someone to pick me up from the airport when I got back... so I tested the water and asked him. Before the holiday was over he asked me to be his girlfriend... or actually he asked if I think we must be a team hahaha.
It was New Year's eve and we planned on taking a safari dinner to explore the town we were holidaying in. We had our starter and he said we should have wine on the beach before we moved on to dinner. Arriving at the beach we encountered almost gale force winds, but none the less we opened the bottle and drank the wine with sand in our teeth. I saw he was fiddling with his pocket when the next moment he dropped on one knee and popped the question.
