The most important part of our day was knowing that all our loved ones were there to join and support us when we needed it most. I couldn't have asked for better family and friends to share the memories we will cherish forever.
The most memorable moment was the grooms speech, the heartfelt emotion and love which runs deep under a mans skin is purely beautiful
Due to my Master exams being only 2 weeks after our wedding. We weren't able to plan a long honeymoon. We did however get a change to go to the Palace of the Lost City in Sun City for a few days; which was short-lived but absolutely magical.
I had a two dresses, one for the Nikkah (Muslim ceremony) and for the white wedding a full lace-up top with a ball gown bottom which had a trail behind and a cathedral length veil (all designed and made by Sonje at DK Bridal Boutique). Two pairs of shoes, one formal (White lace shoes) and one informal for later the evening (pearl white All Stars).
Make-up was done by Marne from Beaulah in Bloemfontein.
Accessories included two pairs of chandelier earrings for each outfit, and an arm/hand bracelet for the first outfit.
My hair had various diamante grips including a flower diamante head piece above my up-style hair-do

The guests all joined us in our stay here. It was a beautiful experience being surrounded by rhino's, giraffes, zebras etc.
I wish I had time for this, unfortunately we had to go natural.
The center pieces on the tables were a tall glass vase with a beautiful bouquet of flowers at the top, gold underplates, personalised menus. The hall had vintage style chandeliers and fairy lights with draping behind the bride and groom's chairs.
All wedding favours, menus, invitations, programs guestbook and seating chart was made by the bride herself throughout the course of the year.
The groomsmen wore black tuxedos, found at Markhams with black bowties.
The Groom wore a Black double-breasted tuxedo with a white flower lapel pin and white silk handkerchief which can be found at Bentleys. Black Aldo shoes and a Giorgio Armani watch.
My bridesmaids wore a blush peach dress which the bride found at YDE, white pearl headpiece which was also found at YDE (on their curled hair) with pearl earrings. Their shoes were heels found at Edgars.
