Our Wedding was held on the 2nd Sept 2017 at Oakfield Farm | The Dairy |
Bruce | My Husband | had 2 Groomsmen: Marshmallow (Mike) and Brad the dad (Brad) & his Best Man is Brettelz (Brett)
My Maid of Honor is Kait (my best mate) & my 2 Bridesmaids: Hiccup (Kelly) and Debs (my new to be sister in-law)
We had a stress free time of planning & enjoyed every moment of putting the details together for our day :)
We were lucky enough to have amazing family and family friends to help with the all the bits and bobs one needs.
Our day was amazing with absolutely no issues. My biggest fear was food poisoning the guests :) & that didnt happen :) so big win :)
We loved every moment and when they say your day goes by fast, they really mean it. Bruce had 2 Beers and I had a water and a sugary drink, purely because we were so busy chatting, dancing and enjoying the company of our amazing guests and taking in the amazing moment of our wedding day.

We went to the amazing : ClubMed Kani in the Maldives
I kept my wedding and entire look very simple and classy. Minimal bits and bobs.
My dress was super simple: strapped white shoes and yes i blinged it up with my big sparkle earrings and very special bracelet from my grandmother.
The Veil i wore: a very special and close to my heart borrowed item from my bridesmaid and now sister in-law: Debbie. It was the most amazing veil and gave me the extra glam that was needed.
My hair was swept back, with minimal twists and folds into a bun. I always thought my hair would be down but i didnt want to take away from the back of my dress. an updo holds throughout the night: hair spray hair spray :) so towards the end of the night i didnt look messy.
My makeup: i wanted my skin to looked brushed up but not caked with foundation: and a subtle smokey eye to make my eyes pop.
We got married at the amazing Dairy at Oakfield Farm.
This venue was by far the most organized and accommodation when we searched through venues.
It was important to us that our vibe and requirements could be accommodated as much as possible. The less for us to do the better.
Decor: was done by my mom and myself: we hired the center mirrors: used the candelabras that oakfield provides.
The flowers were done by the mother of the bride brides maids: My Aunt who has done so many weddings and her team of ladies.
I picked a colour and style: the girls sent through their measurements and it was easy and done.
They came out amazing! considering I had one pregnant and 2 new moms for my bridal team: the dresses fit their needs and looked simply classy.

Our wedding cake was made by: http://www.180degrees.co.za/
We simply sent through a picture and flavors.
I did all our designing and printing of Menu's; Programs etc.
My dad was kind enough to take over the wax stamping
Bruce and I took one dance lesson and immediately knew afterwards: with sore feet from standing on each-other the entire time that this was not for us. A twirl or two with a dipped kiss at the end covered it perfectly.
This acclaimed, multi award winning venue is where romance, beauty, old fashioned hospitality and excellence come together a mere 30 minutes from Sandton and Centurion.
