My wedding was every girls dream, a magical fairytale.
It was a garden wedding, so the perfect weather was key. Upon arriving at the venue, I was excited to see everything set up exactly the way we expected, and the weather was perfect.
My favorite part was getting to see my husband, and how happy he looked to see me.
They day left us in awe, as we walked into our reception area, and we were blown away as to how beautifully our idea was brought to life.
we truly enjoyed every moment of our day, and to share it with all the special people in our lives.
We went to the Maldives (Kuredu Island Resort & Spa)
I was dressed as a modern tamil bride, and glittered under the sunlight.
My hair was pulled back into a modern plait with baby roses and baby's breath entwined through the plait. My makeup was simple, and just enhanced my eyes.
My wedding saree was a dazzling red, with stones that made it glitter under the sunlight. My shoes were Steve Madden - also sparkly.
My jewellery and accessories was a traditional costume set.
I felt like a princess.
Our wedding ceremony and reception was at the Durban Botanical Gardens
My main regime was to keep hydrated - so i drank lots of water.
Two weeks before my wedding, i had a full body massage and a deep cleanse facial.
Our decor and intelligent lighting was done by Koogan Pillay and flowers by Kogie's Florist.
The tent, tables and chairs was done by Star Hire in Durban.
My husband wore a tailored navy suit, a white shirt, red tie and cuff links with his initials.
Kavish Rajpaul (KavoR) was our photographer, and we really enjoyed working with him. He kept all our photos authentic and captured our special moments as they happened.
Kimeshan Govender (Exquisite Photography) did our videography.
Our tea snacks (after the ceremony) and dinner (at reception) was done by Romi’s catering. From the simple salads to the different dinner options, everything was cooked to perfection
Our wedding cards was one of a kind. It was a laser cut design on Perspex. This was done by Creative Laser Studio in Pietermaritzburg.
We could not wait to party and dance the night away. We had a few dance lessons with Warren from Floor Craft Studio. We learnt a basic choreography and on the night, we made the dance our own.
