Our wedding day was a highlight as a whole. The moments as a bride that i just see as a highlight was having 7 bridesmaids and 2 flower girls all getting ready in one home. it was an absolute amazing moment for me, they were all helping each other out with hair and makeup and putting on dresses.
Another highlight was when we had finished the ceremony and proceeded to do photos with a bridal team of 16 excluding us the married couple. There weer laughs and jokes and to get everyone to smile at the same time was a challenge but it was an absolute ball.
We went up the Garden Route staying at a few places. First night we stayed at Raddison Blue in port elizabeth,we then travelled through to Plett to Lookout Lodge for two days which was amazing had a magnificent view and the best hot chocolate ever!! We travelled to Fancourt Golf Estate where we spent the night in family of my husbands house , it was unbelievable. We stayed on the 13th Hole , what an experiance! The morning after we travelled to a small little wooden cabin which was situated outside Plett,known as Moonshine on Whisky Creek where we spent two nights. It was so secluded and cosy. We then came to our second last stop. Swellendam,all i can say is wow! On hunt for the best pancake place after 4 stops we found it and it was really known as the best pancake place. We stayed at Eliante Guest House , home away from home lovely people and amazing breakfast. We then headed home to Port Elizabeth.
