1. Seeing my dad for the first time in my wedding dress at the chapel with tears in his eyes but with a big smile on his face.
2. My father in law's eyes filled with tears as I walked down the isle.
3. The way my husband kissed me with his hand in the air like 'Yes' finally shes my wife.
4. Our first dance - so in love floating over the dance floor.
5. The Father Daughter dance - Started with Butterfly kisses and ended with YMCA - what a special moment
6. Seeing my mom standing outside looking upon the venue with tears in her eyes.
On the day of the wedding my best friend phoned me, just before I got my make up done. She told me that they have a surprise for me and my soon to be husband. They and some of our other friends all gave money so that we can go to Cape Town for our Honeymoon. Flight accommodation and car rental all inclusive. So we spent a few nights in Klein Mond and a few nights in Somerset West.
My wedding hair - I had a flower crown in my hair and my hair was pined up.
My wedding makeup - It was the essence of beauty - I normally don't wear make up but that day it was done perfectly so that I could look like a princess.
My wedding dress - It's me in a dress form. Crazy, out there, flowing every thing I could ever dream about.
My wedding shoes - I didn't wear shoes, but I did wear foot jewelry made by my made of honor.
My wedding jewellery - Small drop earrings and a small bracelet. And of course my wedding ring.
We got married at Tzaneen Country Lodge. The Lodge gave all the guest discount if they spent the night. Some of our guest booked into the Lodge and some slept in Guesthouse in Tzaneen.
I didn't do anything out of the ordinary. I didn't diet or go to the gym. I did whoever get a wax and my nails done for the big day.
O my decor and flowers were amazingly beautiful.
My decor was simple but elegant. I had 2 long tables for the guest to sit at. With greenery flowing as a table runner. In between the greenery there were candles on silver stands and photo frames with words of encouragement. Also so some silver stands with flowers in. No under plates only the serviette, a thank you note and the cutlery was on the table.
We had fairy lights all around flowing from the roof like draping.
The groom and his best man, my brother and the two fathers all wore Superhero t-shirts underneath their suits ( for some photos)
They all wore white shirts with different kinds of pants.
The groom and his best man both wore navy pants - the groom had a burgundy tie and the best man a navy tie.
The groom also wore Batman cuff lings seeing as though he is a Batman fan.
They got their 'suits' and accessories all at Edgars.
My maid of honor got her dress in Pretoria.
She choose her own dress and I only saw the dress a week before the wedding. I had faith in her that she would choose a dress that looks fabulous and that she would wear again, and she did.
Pastor Hannes Steyn
Not only is he our Pastor but also our friend and my boss. He was also our MC for the wedding.
Elmarie Whelan from Film and Fiesta Photography captured every thing just perfect.
She got the whole essence of the wedding on camera.
When I got the photos and looked threw them I couldn't believe that she has captured everything, the smallest detail, the facial expressions everything. She is truly amazing!
My Mother.
She was my wedding planner my coordinator my best friend my financial adviser everything I could ask for.
If it wasn't for my mom this wedding would never have been possible.
I got ready at the Lodge so they transported me in a golf car from my room to the chapel.
The food was made by Tzaneen Country Lodge and The Invisible Chef.
The Wedding Cake was a gift from one of my mothers friends - Wendy Stoop
I didn't have stationery,
My brother helped with the Photo invite that we send via Whats app.
And the thank you notes on the table I did by myself.
The party was awesome!! Everybody enjoyed it so much!
We did have dance lessons just for the opening song - Bonita Jacobs from Dance Creation helped us.
The DJ was - DJ Rui Loucao he had lights smoke machine everything to make the party awesome.
