Na jare se gewag met die gedagte dat ek nooit my spesiale dag sal ervaar nie, het die Here my lewensmaat vir my gestuur. Onverwags, en ja oor n koppie koffie. Die 25ste September 2017 het aangebreek en ek het met afwagting gewag vir die kerk deur om oop te gaan en my nuwe lewe saam my toekomstige man Gerrit te begin. Alles was net perfek soos n sprokie.
One of the highligts of the day was when I was standing in the church door waiting to meet my husband to be, he recorded some words and he said that he was praying for n wife to share his life with, but God send him an angel instead. It was n precious moment. The other highlight was when the groom didnt answer when the pastor did the vows, and I had to bumbed him in his side. Everybody was laughing. It was a day of happy tears and lots of fun. A day to remember. A day which we both prayed for.
Yes, we went to Hartenbos.
Casa Grande Lodge in Brits. The guests did not stay over because the wedding was at nine in the morning.
Our theme was Vintage with a bit of rustic and modern. The wooden centerpieces were made by one of our friends and the flower arrangement idea was the brides. We used recycling bottles, painted them in different colours and arranged the flowes in it. None of the decor, or other elements used were rented. The lightning was done by Casa Grande Lodge.
Corne and Jan, from CJ photographics took our photos. Two great people who will walk that extra mile to make your day and photos special.
No.
We used a 250 Ford bakkie and a Old Chevrolet as our wedding cars.
Casa Grande Lodge made the food and Tienie from the Bakgat made the wedding cake. Freshly Dougnuts
Brits drukkery did the printing of the menu; the table seatings and the photos which we used in the devidor.
We had a DJ, Kobus Scholtz who helped us with the music for the church and reception.
