Anthony and I met in high school, were great friends. In Matric I had an accident and after everything I went through he supported me. Two years after my accident, we started dating and from that day on, I knew he is my happy ever after. Through every struggle I face, he is by my side.♡
We met in High school and couldn't stand each other. Then we became friends and that grew to best of friends. We faced a lot of challenges and still he stayed by my side. One day he said we have a choice to either date or have to change our friendship style. I couldn't imagine life with out him.
He did the message at the evening service, at our church. Afterwards he needed a love prop. He came and got me and then had our song play, with a slide show of our story. At the end it said "but the one thing I have never liked about you ... your surname ... can I change it?"
The moment walking down the aisle, seeing Anthony and how I thought he looked very handsome and I was marrying him.
Our vows, they were heart moving.
Spending time with our guests and enjoying the atmosphere.
We just stayed at a Guest House for two nights, close to us. Aviators Retreat Guest House.
My wedding look was elegance but natural. My hair was platted on one side with a bunch and few loose strands. My makeup was done to look natural. The dress was made by my mom, mainly with a lace look.
We got married at our church, Christian Heritage Church and then had our reception at Kleinvallei.
I tried to be careful of what I put on my face and kept up with my exercises.
The decor was very rustic, not a lot of flowers but your more rustic looking flowers.

Smart shirts and pants with a bow tie and waist coat. The groomsmen wore a tie and not a bow tie. My mom made the booties and waistcoat.
They wore one shoulder purple dresses. Once again, my mom made the dresses.

We used my car and just decorated it.
We had platters made and bought doughnuts and a lady decorated them for the cake.
No one.
It was a picnic reception. We just played music for the background and everyone just relaxed and enjoyed themselves.
