The most memorable moment of my wedding was stepping in the church, watching my very soon to be husband watch me walk down the aisle and tears rolling down he's face. After the ceremony he says that he experienced a love that only a husband feels for he's wife. The highlight I would say was Dean, my husband, saying that the 9th of August would no longer be known as Woman's Day in our home but our Anniversary.
My husband and I spent a night at Caledon Spa and after breakfast the next morning, we took the long road to Tsitsikamma. I like to think of this place as an enchanted forest, beautiful.
I got married in Winter and therefore decided to for with a winter theme. I had a long sleeve ivory dress, nude heels and all the jewlery I had on was a pair on ear rings. I wanted my bring to be the attraction
I got married at Blessed Hope Church. The same church my parents got married in. Our reception was held at Croydon Olive Estate. This is located within residential area so no guest could spend the night, not that it was necessary, as the next day was work for everyone else. (My wedding was on a public holiday)
The men wore a camel colour 3-piece suit hired by Eurosuit, with a brown shoe and belt. The groomsmen wore burgundy bow ties and the Groom looked dashing in a burgundy tie. Oh, don't forget the happy socks
My bridesmaid wore a long sleeve burgundy velvet dress inspires by a dress worn by Khloe Kardashian
Pastor Mark Harris officiated my marriage. I have known Pastor Mark for more than 10 years and could not see anyone else marrying Dean and myself.

We had 2x cars. My husband and I were in a while Merc A200 and the rest of the bridal party was in a white Merc C200
The venue we chose had their on in-house catering. Ebony and Ivory. The food was amazing and their was plenty to go around. They really exceeded my expectations.
An acquaintance, Louise Benson kindly did a mini engagement shoot of Dean and I. She then used those photos to make polaroid pictures as my Save The Date. My best friend and Made Of Honor designed and printed invites.
We danced to "For You" by Kenny Latimore..I love this song and it's fitting as Dean makes me feel this special. I arranged to have the lights dimmed and an indoor fire going. However it turned out to be a hot Winter's Day. I had a friend sorting out the sound but with the ambiance we had, music was not necessary.
