About 8 years ago I met the man of my dreams. He quickly became my best friend and that developed into more than just a friendship, it took him a while to ask me to be his girlfriend because he always said the first girl he ever dates will be the girl he marries. He finally asked me to be his girlfriend and his first girlfriend became his wife.
We had just adopted another furbaby and Shaun had said we were going to take her for her first drive on the golf cart when i got home from work. So after 7 years I came home from work on a Monday afternoon and as i opened the door at home he was on one knee holding the ring with each of our furbabies on each side of him with a sign on top of our one furbabies head saying "Will you be my Mrs faccio". It was my dream proposal just him and i with our furbabies, in our home.
We did our wedding very different from everyone else. There were no specific seating charts so we made it more of a cocktail wedding reception with one big party. My most memorable moment is the moment my father lifted my veil and i turned to see my husband and looked him in the eye we both immediately started to cry with happiness of our day finally arriving. I was finally marrying the man of my dreams.
We went to the Four Seasons in the Maldives, it was absolutely breathtaking and absolute paradise. The perfect honeymoon destination.
The look that i was going for was simple but classy and elegant. My dress was a tight white mermaid fitted dress from De La Vida which i edited completely to make it exactly how imagined it to be, they also custom made my garter to match my dress. My shoes were white heels that matched my dress from Bride & co. My jewelry was very simple i wore a tennis bracelet from browns as well as my something old and something blue being my ring from Browns. My make up was done by Storm Pass and hair done by Jess Brown (#jesstime).
We got married at both our parents homes, we had the wedding ceremony at my husbands parents home in the Garden and the Reception was held at my parents house. This meant we had to create 2 venues from scratch.
I focused on my training at my studio "Toned and Tanned" doing Electro Muscle Stimulation and maintained a tan on the tan can at my studio to.
