My highlight was most defiantly walking down the isle and seeing my husband. Another special moment was seeing my dad's reaction when he saw me in my wedding dress. I loved having all our family and friends with us. Another memorable moment was defiantly seeing all the wedding ideas I had put together.

My wedding colours were white. gold, green and floral aspects. I had a classic hair look, side bun with bottle green earrings. My make up was absolutely stunning, browns and golds, I don't think I have ever felt so pretty all thanks to Mare Muller Make Up Artist. I had a classic styled wedding dress, the top was from lace with a low back and mesh and the bottom was made from Georgette material with a short train. I had gold shoes with a gold bracelet and a lace garter. Defiantly something that stood out was my bottle green nails with a touch of gold, something different.
We got married at Kronenburg. It is situated on the R45 between Paarl and Wellington.
My theme was white, gold, green and floral. Most of the decor was gold, we had gold bottles and geometric cubes on the tables with white and pink flowers and penny gum runners. We also had gold hoola hoops with flowers hanging on the walls. We had floral print napkins. White draping and fairy lights inside and outside of the venue.
The groom wore a bottle green suit, brown shoes and belt, a white long sleeve shirt and a floral print tie. The groomsmen wore stone colored chino's with brown shoes and belt and a floral print tie. We had the suit made as well as the ties.
I had 3 bridesmaids, they wore white tops (each their own design to suit their style) and floral print skirts. La Faye Evening and Bridal wear made the skirts.
We had a pastor, Ds.Johan Steenkamp.
My photographer was Lauren Pretorius. She was absolutely amazing and would recommend her to everyone. She made us both feel so comfortable from the moment we did our engagement shoot all the way to our big day. She has a very unique style, I have already received all my photos and they are AMAZING!
We had a photo booth section which Lauren and the second shooter manned.

We did not have a wedding car.
Food was provided by the venue, Kronenburg and my aunt made the wedding cake. Three tier naked cake with fresh flowers as decorations.

We had a DJ, Riaan Groenewald, he was fantastic. He had everyone dancing the entire night. We did not take dance lessons, we love to sokkie.
