Our story began in September 2013
Our Ceremony were held in a beautiful Maze, it is 80m in diameter and has over 3000 plants and the best One of the best moments was when I walked into the isle of the Maze and seeing my future husband with tears in his eyes.
Rosemary Hill’s distinctive attention to detail provide a stylish event in farm-style surroundings. Our wedding were a very unique blend of rustic, combined with elegance.
Me and my bridesmaids hair and make-up were done by a professional hair dresser and our makeup were done by my niece and a good friend.
I had my dress designed at claris by Gerrit Pienaar.
Our wedding were held at the Rosemary Hill farm situated on beautiful farmland just east of Pretoria. It is an organic working farm and has been in operation since 1978. From cultivating seedlings and planting veggies to distilling essential oils, this farm is truly unique in what it has to offer. The herd of Nguni cattle is always nearby to add a beautiful splash of colour to the landscape.
Our close friends stayed in the Farmhouse were the reception were held.
My mother and father stayed in Room 3 at Rosemary Hill surrounded by beautiful trees with abundant birdlife and breathtaking sunset views.
My Husband and I stayed in Room 7 it is is a spacious suite with 2,5 bathrooms, a patio and a private garden.

We used Wildflower Creations trendy wooden tables and Rosemary Hill's white chairs.
We hanged a lot of fairy lights over the open sky in in the courtyard where the reception were held.
We had an assorted green leaf runner withe pink Proteas on the tables for our centrepieces withe a lot of candles in between.
Our bouquets were also filled with a lot of greenery and Proteas .
Each guest had their name laser cut out of wood laying on their napkin with a Ferrero Rocher chocolate for their thank you gifts.
The groom and groomsmen were dressed in navy blue suits with white shirts and a light corral pink tie, they all had pink socks on as well.
My Bridesmaids wore a very light corral pink long dress with lace at the top and over their shoulders.
Each bridesmaid had the most beautiful flower crown made out of green leafs and a light pink rose.
Their bouquets were also made out of lots of greenery and Proteas.
Our marriage Officer were our church Pastor.
We used Sagely Photography his philosophy in life is to always be humble and to know that there is someone out there better than him to learn from and someone out there who wants to learn from him. His objective is to make you look the best you have ever looked in your life, whilst telling the story of your dream wedding. His style of photography is fashionable yet classic, and natural at the same time.
Our Wedding coordinator were also from Rosemary Hill and is a very good friend.
She took control of everything and did not even leave me with the littlest bid of stress.
She loves the work that she do and have coordinated over 200 weddings at Rosemary Hill.
We had the most delicious food at our Wedding all made by Rosemary Hill's Chef.
Our post-ceremony snacks were a Cheese cake made out of Brie, Blue Rock en Emmenthaler
with Berries, grapes, homemade jams, preserves, crackers and bread.
Our buffet dinner were:
Braised Pork with Asian sticky sauce
Beef Fillet with Cheese or Pepper sauce
Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes
Pumpkin Pie with Caramel Sauce
Creamy Cheesy Classic Cauli-Broc Bake
and Red Salad
And our Desert were part of our unique wedding cake.
We had a chocolate cake on top op a cupcake stand with hazelnut brownies, rice crispy treats and donuts at the bottom of the cupcake stand.
Me and my husband made everything our self.
Since that first wedding back in ’07 we have now captured well over 500 weddings.
