My favorite moment was the look on my husband's face when I did a speech to thank him for giving us this amazing wedding day. That look was worth it all.
We did not go on honeymoon.
I went for a very "Bride of Chucky" look! I wore a white, lace, A-line dress with pearl detail at the neckline. Over it I wore my late father's leather jacket. He passed away 20 years ago and it was a lovely way of including his memory in our day. My make up was winged eyeliner and a nude lip, done by myself! I wore black sneakers with purple ribbon as laces. My hair was just slightly curled.
We got married at Estate Twenty Eight country venue! It was amazing.
We went for rustic/goth with a lot of wooden elements and black and purple being our colour scheme. Flowers were not a part of our decor. There were a lot of fairy lights! It was stunning.
The groom and groomsmen wore black pants, black long sleeve button up shirts, and purple bow ties with purple suspenders. We bought the clothing at Jet, and the accessories a Vibes, Greenacres.
My Bridesmaids wore black lace A-line cocktail dresses with sweetheart illusion necklines!
Elmarie Niemand did our photos, and they are stunning. We did not have a photo booth.
I arrived in a white Audi.
My sister in law did our invitations!
The dance was a total improvisation, we had no idea what we were doing! KC sound and lighting was the band provided by our venue.
