I booked a couple photoshoot for our 4 year anniversary. We went to a beautiful sight where we were going to take photos as a couple for the first time by a professional photographer. At the end of the photoshoot Jaun asked to take one more photo near a broken tree stump, while posing for the photo, he went down on one knee asking me the big question.
Any girl dreams about that moment when you she gets the chance to walk down the aisle, facing the man she's going to spend the rest of her life with. It's for good reason that we dream about that moment, as it was indeed the most precious, beautiful and incredible moment of our wedding day. The greatest honor of this moment is when you make a promise before God, friends and family to always stay by each other's side.
I chose the fifty's style for both my make-up and hairstyle so that it can fit with our vintage, but elegant wedding theme (Marilyn Monroe). I wore a pure white a-line dress with lace covering the top, a beatiful belt with detail around the waist and net flowing from the belt. My shoes are silver ballet shoes and they matched my garter which was white lace with a silver bow.

We got married at Casa-Lee Country Lodge in Donkerhoek outside Pretoria.
We combined elegance with a vintage, rustic theme. Our decor was simple but elegant, as we like it, with silver chandaliers, purple flowers, mirror under plates and crystals. We used purple up lights against the white walls to set the atmosphere. We had a gobo light flashing on the dance floor saying "Mr & Mrs Pruis"
Both tbe groom and the groomsmen wore the same grey suits. The groomsmen wore lavender bowties while the groom wore a lavender tie. The groom wore a silver under jacket.
