He was one of the most popular guys in high school, and I was a nerdy nerd. He asked me out one day and I knew it had to be a joke. I rejected him probably about 5 times before we decided to give it a try. Eleven years later, we are known as 'High School Sweethearts'
The many break -ups and make-ups, ups and downs, brought us to this wonderful time in life, where we got to say " I DO "
It wasn't elaborate, neither did he go down on one knee.
It was a simple gesture of love, where he asked to spend the rest of his life with me.
I knew then , that I don't need a fancy proposal, or mad declarations of love. We just needed each other, with God at the centre.
Our wedding ceremony was very simple. It took place in a church with only the nearest and dearest in our lives. The highlight of my day had to be saying " I DO".
We got to share our love with the people who mattered the most
We went down to the South Coast, to a beautiful little hotel on the beach.
My wedding look was simple yet elegant. I had the most popular Hair & Make Up artist from Durban to glam me up. Neil Ramautar and his team made me feel like a princess on my special day.
I tried my best to eat healthily and drink lots of water. I had regular facials, and manicures and pedicures.
