Yes we did:) We went to Mauritius and it was just amazing!
I am very easy going person, so I wanted less but beautiful. I had Shaun Murphy, from SBM Events, as my wedding planner. I basically told him the colours that I wanted and he did the rest. My wedding dress was designed and made by Diaan Daniels, and I couldn't have chosen better. I absolutely loved my dress and I was comfortable throughout the whole night. My make up was done by my sister, Chavrone Oelofse, because she knows how much I dislike it:) She's done my make up a few times so I trusted her to do it to my liking. My hair was done by Natasha Picado, also my hairdresser for a few years now and my hair was perfect. Everything about my wedding had to look natural and elegant and I think with the awesome team I had, the day couldn't have been more perfect.
We got married at Red Ivory in Hartbeespoort.
Most of our guests slept over, I am not entirely sure but I know it was a few places in the area. And some of our guests slept over at the venue itself.
It was supposed to be train hard but that didn't happen. I went for a few tanning sessions but that's about it.
We had a forest theme and our colors were Mint green, white and glitter gold. So we had lots of gum leaves, succulents, gold decor and lots and lots of candles. we had a pond in the middle of our reception area with some floating candles inside. we also had a gum leave chandelier with fairy lights, hanging above the pond. our decor was very basic but it looked absolutely stunning!
They wore light grey suits from Eurosuit, with white shirts and a mint tie. They also had tan shoes and a belt. The groom bought each of his groomsmen superhero socks and cufflinks.
I didn't want to tell my bridesmaids what to wear, so I gave them a choice of 5 different colors they could choose from. Each girl chose a different color, so we had gold, champagne, mint and aqua mint. We got the dresses made from infinity and it was perfect because each bridesmaid could choose her own style of wrapping the dress.

Red Ivory prepared our food and it was delicious !! And then I don't know who made our wedding cake (Shaun organized it all) but it was the best superhero cake and also the best vanilla cake I have ever tasted!!
We didn't have a lot of stationery but my Father, John Venter, made my table setting board and all my bridesmaids gifts.
We wanted to take dance lessons but we just didn't have the time so we kind of winged it on our first dance. we had Soundworx as our DJ and they played the music we asked them to play and also they took requests which was nice for the guests. I am so happy that our guest stayed right till the end to party and celebrate our special day with us! it was just spectacular.
