Everything went so fast but I loved getting ready! From waking up with my girls to the salon to getting dressed. I loved walking down the isle to my husband and seeing his face when he saw me. I loved our ceremony as our Pastor is so awesome. The reception was so much fun (even though my hubby got sick and we had to leave early :( haha)
Yes we did. We went to Knysna and stayed at Belvidere Manor. What a stunning little place it was. We got the honeymoon suite with an amazing view. We went on a cruise through the Knysna heads and drove around the scenic Garden Route. It was so relaxing and romantic. We loved it!
I am a plain Jane so wanted to look as natural as possible. My dress was hired from Bridal Flair. My mom did my hair as she works as a hairdresser at FAB Hair Salon. I wore plain white pumps. The only flowers I carried was the flowers in my hair :) My make up was done by Lameez at Glamface.
We got married at Bushbuck Ridge. It was an absolutely beautiful day. We could not have asked for any better weather. Our guests did not stay the night. We had our ceremony and reception at the venue.
He wore a black tux with a red tie and All Star takkies.
the groomsman wore the same except for black ties.
My girls wore red lace dresses. I am in love with red and it just enhanced their natural beauty! They looked amazing!
Pastor Ziggy from Bikers Church in Port Elizabeth.
Stacey Lottering Photography did the photos for our wedding. She is so awesome and we had an absolute ball. There is not one serious photo as they made us laugh all the time. She captured our 'in the moment' photo's. We were so relaxed and no one was uptight. It was a lot of fun. I would recommend her any day. We also had a Vintage photo booth from Amuse Photo booths.
Nope. We did it all on our own with help from friends and family.
We drove in a family vehicle which was a green vintage Chev.
Our food was done by Kerry at Bushbuck Ridge. It was very good! We didn't have a wedding cake but had red velvet truffles dipped in white chocolate done by Grass Roof.
All our wedding stationary was done by my to-be sister in law, Amy Gilbert. She is so talented.
We did not take dance lessons. We had a DJ. (A Family Friend)
