December 2007 - His cousin introduce us
19 January 2008 - He asked me to be his girlfriend
28 February 2016 - He pop the big question and I said YES
26 August 2017 - We tied the not :-)
Well... I actually told David that if he must propose it must be done before my birthday and not on it if he do decide on a date.
I'm a leap-year baby so for an engagement anniversary the 29 February would not be suitable lol..
So he actually proposed on the 28 February 2016. We went to Hermanus for lunch after we had something to eat we went for a walk along the beach taking in the view. Which I thought he might pop the question but he didn't. We then got back in the car and headed back to Cape Town. Drive back home was very silent not speaking to him cause he didn't ask. I then got the courage together and asked him if he is going to ask me the big question where he just laughs. He then asked if I would like to go home and I just said no.
He then took me to Newlands Forest where we went for another walk and as we walked through the forest he just went down on one knee and asked the question. I just said finally and yes!
