Once upon a time a boy met a girl, and they fell in love. Our wedding day was exactly like a Fairytale! It was magical and I definitely felt like a princess. It was everything a girl could dream of. We said our vows to each other in the forest under a canopy of trees with all our close family and friends, what more can you ask for. Being able to have some photo's taken with the elephants was incredible.
Instead of going overseas for our honeymoon we decided to travel SA. We really do have a beautiful country.
My hair and make up was done by Antoinette from EA Academy. She was amazing and made me feel like a princess.
I found my perfect dress at Lady Marmalaide Parkhurst, they were all amazing.
My Mother and sister in law made me the most beautiful winter coat to wear over my dress in case I got cold. All the fabrics were purchased at Chamdor at Deco Park.
My tiara, veil, shoes and jewellery were purchased at the Oriental Plaza.
We got Married at Askari Game Lodge in Magaliesburg. Most of the guest stayed over as they offer accommodation at the venue.
I lost a lot of weight being on the Slender Wonder diet. I didn't do much else besides having a mani and pedi done at Sorbet the day before the wedding.
Partly solutions supplied us with our white Tiffany chairs and cushions and our silver overlays.
Dream Drapings draped the entire room with white including the fairylights. It looked amazing!
Rohan Morgan was our bagpiper and did a fantastic job entertaining our guests.
Pretty Bunches supplied us with our rose petals, silver bowls with flowers, candles, lanterns, silver under plates, round mirrors, stones, 5 tier cup cake stand, flowers for our arch in the forest and my bouquet.
The Groom and Groomsmen wore Kilts. They hired all their attire at Rob Roy Scottish Supplies in Northcliff.
The Bridesmaids all wore a dove light grey Infinity Dress. The Infinity Dress was able to accommodate all in different styles. The dresses were made by Bride-zilla in Randburg.

Rev. Andrew Payne from GA Slade Consultancy was our marriage officer. His service was very special and made us very comfortable. All our guests loved him.
Our photographers were Ilze and Paul from Ross Images. They captured our special moments perfectly!
We planned our wedding by ourselves. We did have a lot of help from our family to bring it all together on the day.
Our Wedding Transport was the Askari Game Lodge Game Vehicle. It allowed us to go to some locations on the Reserve to get the most amazing Photographs in the bush and with the adorable Elephants!
The Chef at Askari Game Lodge prepared our delicious meals. Our cake was made by Spar Broadacres. A delicious single tier chocolate cake with a hazelnut filling and buttercream icing, with vanilla and chocolate cupcakes.
My husband designed and printed our stationary for the wedding.
We did take dance lessons at Fred Astair in Wilro Park. Our instructor Dominique worked out a beautiful routine to our song Christina Perri - A Thousand years in just 4 lessons!
Blast Entertainment did our sound and lighting. The lighting was spectacular.
