Im a 37 year old lady, never married before,and at times I made peace with the fact that maybe... this is just not for me.
However - God had other plans! And as we all know works at His own pace.
Getting married to my prince Charming was just absolutely petfect.

We both have a hectic schedule, but managed to get away for a long weekend to a lionfarm on the outskirts of Bloem.
It was magical.
Nature at my doorstep, fire in the hearth, red wine to die for...what more can a newly wed girl ask for!
Ny look was a chalenge at the best. Luckily my dress was designed and made by my lifelong friend Divan Schutte. He had his job cut out... he had to make me look glamourous, cover my wheelchair, and i needed ti be warm enough for a July wedding...
I wanted Clasic
I wanted Elegant
I wanted Glamour
And got all of that!
I did not diet for months on end
Joined a gym or banted untill I could no more.
I love who I am. My husband loves me for me

Gods creation
Décor was elegant, stylish and beautiful for a morning wedding. More beautiful than what I suggested.
My aunt Nell Kingwill did my flowers and décor. She knew exactly what I like and what I wanted.
We used long tables and round tables.
The ceremony was in a cathedral and the reception your just outside the city at a beautiful venue.
The flowers were Proteas.
The colours were purple and dirty pink.
My husband wore a black suit with a purple tie that we bought for him.
The Best Man's suit was also black. He wore a purple pocket square to match with the groom's tie.
The best man was a good friend: Marlon
Bridesmaids wore purple infinity dresses with boots.
They decided on boots because I wore boots, so everyone was unique. It was very cool.
I had 3 bridesmaids:
Best friend: Nita
My sister: Sumarie
My sister-in-law: Didi
