After everyone was dressed my bridesmaids washed my feet and prayed for us, my mother put on my boots....I chose red because my grandmother bought me red boots as a little girl and i never took them off,now i walked down the tree path in them for the last time towards my husband,who is trying to keep the tears back,he took them off and put on my wedding shoes and we walked into the chapel together.
a Moment for me was at a certain stage of the wedding song we danced on,my husband picks me up and we spin,he has a look on his face of utter joy and to me it felt like time stood still and all i see is that face.
Our MC asked my husband and i to sit on two chairs,back to back, in the middle of the dance floor,we exchanged one shoe and had no idea what was going on. The MC asks a question and we have to raise the shoe relevant. We had such a laugh and amazed at how good we know each other.
Our honeymoon was a surprise...until we crossed the border of Lesotho. We were at a lodge high up in the mountains for four days....only the fire in the corner of the hut ,a glass of wine and memories of the greatest day of our life's. There after we spent three days of pampering in Clarens .
My dress was made by Verhan @ Treat La Fem, Long sleeve,low back mesh with peaces of lace and a trumpet shape fully covered in lace. My hair and makeup was done by Michelle from Scissor sisters, I left it in her hands and she did n great job.
I had red boots on as i walked towards my husband and he took them off and put my wedding shoes "Zellie shoes" on as a symbol of walking in new shoes as his wife.
My mother in law brought me a pair of beautiful silver feather earrings the morning of the wedding witch n wore that day.
We got married at Imperfect Perfection

Three months before the wedding my husband and I had facials at Skin Phd. We worked out and ate healthy from the beginning of the year and we still do.
My decor and flowers were in duck egg blue and a dusty mauve/pink. My father in law made the wooden flower boxes and wooden trays with glass cylinders for candles on the tables. My aunt made the runners and curtains for outside and in the chapel. There were leave runners with bulbs hanging over each table.
Groomsmen wore a sand like color suit ,a shade lighter then the groom, from Bride and Co, with blue ties and a wooden buttonhole with two stems of wheat grass.
Bridesmaids wore long ,dusty mauve ,dresses with long sleeve lace top and tulle skirt. Verhan from Treat La Fem made them.
Vernon Bekker...a family friend of my parents in law was our marriage officer
Duck soup Productions took our photos and video...they know how to liven up a party and laughed at them most of the time,what fun we had.
We had a four tier cake made by Mien from Divine Delight. There were no leftovers...it was that good.
Karoo Deli from the venue it self made dinner ... our guest enjoyed the food so much the kitchen had to make an extra helping.
Lezelle from MJDC worked out an routine for the first dance....it was n breathtaking moment. She was also or DJ and she taught our guests a few line dancing moves
