Just being together after all the stress of planning the wedding, getting to sit and enjoy what we planned together was just amazing and obviously knowing we would be going home together to enjoy our new home and new life.
No we spent it in our home. We planning a honeymoon for our first year anniversary.
We never had any.
My bridesmaid and maid of honor wore the same dress. Mint green lace top and chiffon bottom dress. They chose their style. I wasnt too fussy. I just wanted the mint colour. They finished off the look with fur shawls whicj went well with the winter wonderland theme.

Cray Van Staden and his cousin assisted on the day. We had so much fun with them. They made us feel like family, making jokes and allowing us to be us. They really brought out the beauty we see in one another and showed it to all.
Nope we did the planning ourselves which allowed us to grow closer to one another.
We wanted a carriage but then thought about the weather. Then we decided on a Maserati but that friend couldnt somehow get that car for the day so my husband was panicking until this same friend organised a white BMW 7 series. Which was totally beautiful.
Cathkin Caterers supplied the wedding food and Cakes for any Occasion did our 6 tier upside down chandelier cake for every year we were together before getting married.
I did it myself and mom printed it for me. We did a lot of diy work which was fun. Only our invitations were professionally done by Tanya Dick and Little Woodpecker did our guest frame.
The venue had their own sound system. I put our favourite love songs on a flash and that was playing softly in the background and I made a slideshow of my husband and I growing up that played while the guests had their mains.
