Landon and I met on the first day of high school- 10 years ago!! We always liked each other and remained friends throughout school and finally made it official in Matric! I would tell my friends that I was going to marry him, "my high school sweetheart". 6 years after school he asked me to marry him!
We went away to visit family in Mtunzini. He took me fishing and when I wasn't looking he tied a ring to the end of his fishing line. He called me to come and look at what he had "caught''!! He asked me to marry him , and after a lot of " are you serious? " I said YES!
We got married in the Midlands. We didn't really look at wedding venues, I had looked online and stumbled across The Old Halliwell Country Inn. As we drove in, my then Fiancé looked at me and said , "this is it" . It was so beautiful. Close family and the bridal party and some friends stayed the night , some the whole weekend! While most of the guests stayed near by at other venues.
My bridesmaids all came dress fitting with me so we could find a style that suited all the body types. Once we were happy with a style we went and bought material and my mother-in-law made the dresses.
The dresses were dainty and soft- especially the colour. I absolutely love lace so we all opted for a lace top and a flowy skirt. Originally we chose a style with straps but because we were getting married in winter , we changed the straps to long lace sleeves. I was very happy in the end.
I have always admired Carmen Roberts Photography and was so happy when she was available to take our photos. Her style matched our personalities and I knew she would be the perfect person to take our photos.

Our wedding video was everything and more! Daniel Dedekind is the most talented artist I have come across and he put together a video I will treasure for the rest of my life.
