The entire day was very special and every single moment was a highlight and memory that I will forever carry with me.
We went on a roadtrip through the Western and Eastern Cape. It was lovely and truly an amazing honeymoon. Even though we were there in Winter time we enjoyed every single moment. We explored the outdoors, went to the beach (dressed as though we were going to play in the snow) and attended a wide variety of wine tastings.
I wanted a simple, elegant and natural look for my wedding day. My hair was done by two of my bridesmaids and my make-up by a very good family friend. My dress was a ball gown with a corset bodice and something I would really like to wear again (I wanted to wear it every night until the wedding from the day we bought it). My shoes were vintage inspired as well as my jewellery and accessories.
We got married at the beautiful Cussonia Crest wedding venue. Truely exceptional and they did a great job.
I did most of the organizing of the day myself as well as all the planning beforehand. My bridesmaids helped a lot with the small handmade crafts that needed to be done before.
