I wore this beautiful wedding dress with my own added flair. We added purple butterlies and i wore purple tommy Tekkies...Comfort was everything. in my hair i had a family clip passed down generations as well as beautiful amethest earings given to me by my gorgeous bridesmaids
We got married In Pietermaritzburg at Cord Walles School. They had a beautiful setting outside in an amphitheater. There were a few guests that did stay the night in very close B & B in the area.
All I did really was my nails. I tried really hard to grow them before the wedding but as luck would have it a week before the wedding they all broke. other than that there was no time for teeth whitening or spa treatments..it was all me!
The reception was at the same venue in the small but comfortable Pavilion. The colors of the wedding were White, Purple and Grey. All the decorating was done by my mother and sister in law. each family member had a task to do. My mom made my wedding cake, My mother in law did the reception tables, a family friend the catering as he has his own business, my sister the photo booth and wedding band.
The Groom and groomsmen wore, grey smart pants, grey waistcoats, white long sleeve shirts ,and bow ties and butterfly epilets. The difference between the groomsmen and the groom was the bow ties. the Groom wore a purple bow tie while the grooms men wore grey ones.
I wanted the Bridesmaids to wear the infinity dress, the color I chose was cadbury purple. they also wore tommy tekkies as the hill we had to walk down was steep and grass...but also for comfort and fun

No i had a wedding group which consisted of Me , My mom, my Sisters, My sister and mother in law.
We used Oupa and Oumas Merc to get to the venue. i was driven by my Husbands God father as my husband has driven his daughters to there respective weddings.
We have a family Caterer. His name is Dave and he operates in Pietermaritzburg.
My sister in law. Keran did the table cards and butterfly printing. I did email wedding invites and save the dates.
We didn't take dance lessons, we didn't need to. My sister surprised us with a live band when I thought she was going to organised a DJ. It was lovely to have our first dance sung instead of just played.
