...through a first date that never ended.
What an amazing memory! We went to go hiking on a Saturday. About 200m in, I complained that I wanted water. It was so hot! My handsome gentleman immediately ran back to the car, suddenly "remembering" he has water in the car. He left so suddenly I was kind off shocked, standing alone in the bush, you can imagine what I was thinking. After what felt like FOREVER, down the gravel came my prince, clutching a box, his guitar and a bunch of red roses. At that stage i was giggling, and before I could say anything he pushed the roses into my hand, got down on one knee and sang me a song. Now by this time I was already way up in the clouds and all I could remember from the song was: 'Would you walk the rest of your life with me?' And of course, i said YES!!! Now comes the funny part; he opened the box containing the ring, and just looked at me. So I said: "Lovie, your supposed to put the ring on my finger..." which is what he did next, after we had a good laugh. We continued our hike amd had the most romantic picnic right in the bush.
We went to Marloth Park - stayed in a secluded cabin with wildlife literally at our doorstep.
Pastor Wentzel du Plessis from our church. Inspiring man!
Our venue had a co-ordinator included in the package.
My own two feet.
