All moments throughout our entire wedding day was so wonderful, but I remember loving seeing my hubby's face at the end of the isle, our rainbow-colored cake, our first dance as bride and groom, and just experiencing how perfectly everything came together in one amazing rainbow-themed wedding day with our dear friends and family celebrating our love.
Yes, we went to Thailand, and it was so lovely and relaxing - exactly what we needed.
My dress came from Bridal Room in Pretoria, my hair and make-up was beautifully done by Jonice de Villiers (JDV Styling), and all my accessories were chosen to match the rainbow-theme in a subtle way - stylish with a pop of color!

I had to cut out all sugar and carbs for months in order to feel comfortable on our wedding day. It really paid off to visit the gym regularly as well. I had my nails done at Sorbet, went for a hair and make-up trial, waxes, etc.
As an expression of my personality I chose a rainbow-theme for our wedding and it was so incredibly beautiful! The base color was white and every now and then I would bring in the rainbow to add some fun - the wedding party's accessories, my bouquet, my garter, the wedding-cake, the menu's, some photo-props, gifts for the guests, even the food!
The groomsmen were in black suits with green, blue and purple ties and socks to represent half of the rainbow as per our theme. The groom was in a grey suit with a black tie to set himself apart.
The bridesmaids also had black dresses with red, orange and yellow shoes to represent the other half of the rainbow as per our theme.
Pastor Roy Buck, situated in Pretoria.
Trompie van der Berg was our photographer and he truly is the best of the best! He managed to capture our rainbow theme in a fun, yet elegant manner and we had the best time working with him.
Yes, Dorette from Chez Charlene helped us throughout the whole process in such an amazingly professional way - we truly could not have pulled off our perfect day without her and her team.
We got dressed at the venue and thus there was no need for a 'wedding-car'.
The food was prepared by Chez Charlene's chef - and it was so delicious, not to mention beautiful! Our amazing wedding cake was made by Sugar Smith Cakes located in Pretoria which looked and tasted exactly how I wanted it.
Fortunately my mom is a graphic designer, and she helped me create everything exactly the way I imagined.
Our DJ was Steven from 4 Seasons Mobile Disco and he was so great - all the special moments' music was perfectly timed and he really created a great atmosphere. We did not have any dance lessons, but luckily my hubby is a good dancer, and at least my dress was long enough so no one could see my two left feet. Regardless, the dance was perfect and so much fun!
