The moment which stands out for us is when our marriage officer pronounced us husband and wife. It was the most magical moment of our lives one we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
We had such an incredible minimoon at Insingizi Lodge, it was a week filled with lots of pampering and precious moments together, we cannot wait to go back and reminisce about our perfect day.
Those that know my husband and I know that we both two really chilled people so having an "ordinary" bridal gown would never work for me, although I must admit I did try on a few but never got that "THIS IS THE ONE FEELING". So I decided to stick to being true to myself and get my dream dress made. I would describe my dress to be Boho Chic with a hint of Grecian elegance, the best part of it all is I got to wear flat shoes all day long!
We opted to have a small intimate wedding with just our immediate family, our guest list totaling at 27. We got married at Kingsley house in Balito, it really was everything I imagined it to be and more. Looking back on the day there honestly isn't a single thing that I would change. We were able to mingle with each of our guests and just be carefree. Our reception was wat Sage in Balito, they outdid themselves from the setup of our reception area to the amazing food served absolutely scrumptious. Such an amazing day!
If I'm being honest this was the only part we were not looking so forward to. My husband and I are not the model type and standing around taking pics is really not our idea of fun but thankfully we had such an amazing photographer, Shaun Tarr made us feel so comfortable, we could have taken pics all day.
