I remember meeting Shaun who started being my best friend and the person I could speak to about anyting.. Even though I thought of him just as my friend, he alway tend to tell me he will be marrying me one day. After a dare, we kissed and immediately felt the spark between us. As you know, woman are always over thinking everything hehe. I was so scared that this will destroy our friendship. Eventually I went for this relationship with my best friend and it turned out to be a fairytale, my fairytale! He took me to France and poped the question in the most beautiful church in a small town called Strasbourg. 5 Months later we got married. The best day of my life!! All this time Shaun knew from the first day he saw me he will marry me one day. Blessed!!
With a game in Mozambique.
We visited Shaun's sister in France over the festive season in 2016. We left very early on the 23rd December. We went to a small town called Strasbourg famous for their beautiful church and Christmas decorations throughout the town. Whille admiring the spectacular art throughout the church we reached the front, he took my hand went down on one knee and proposed.. The emotions that day was overwhelming. His mother, father, sister and brother in law was there to take photos and celebrate with us.

Yes we did. After just being in France we decide to explore the South Coast in South Africa.
My wedding was a elegant look with lace and loads of candles (winter wedding). The colour was mint and gold.
My hair was over my right shoulder with soft curls and make up a dark'ish pink/brown lipstick with brown smokey eye.
My dress was a classic long sleeve mermaid look. I had nude high heel peak toe Jessica Simpson shoes.
My "something old" was my great grandmothers breastpin of over 100 years.
My "something borrowed" was my sister in laws diamond earings.
My "something new" was my underwear.
My "something blue" was added to my garter by myself.
We got married at Engedi in Muldersdrift.
Some of the guest stayed the night. Engedi has their own rooms on the premises.
Nothing really. The only thing I did additional was my neals. I never really get my neals done by nail technicians.
My flowers saw mostly just Gip. In my bouquet I had white orchids and greenery. I had white light flowers in my hair (imported from Amseterdan)not sure about the name.. The decor was greenery gip and diferent height candles. Main table was loads of candles and a curtain of fairy lights.
They all had a cream suit with the groomsmen wearing a mint tie and the groom a gold tie. The suits was rented from The dress suit and they had special socks with underwear made with writing on. The grooms watch was bough by me as a gift on the day of the wedding.
My bridesmaids had a nude boobtube dress. The make was to fit the different body types. They had the opportunity to choose their own kind of shoe as long as it was a nude colour. They all had rose gold accessories.
