Our wedding day was the most incredible day of our lives!
I enjoyed every step of this amazing journey, from choosing our venue- (Red Ivory Lodge is absolutely stunning!) to choosing flowers, shoe shopping, designing invitations and all the small details in between. The easiest part of this was finding my dress. It is from Bridal Wardrobe. It was the fourth dress I tried on and knew the minute I saw it on that it was THE ONE. My mom was with me and we both cried- it was like an episode of "Say Yes to the Dress" haha. We bought my dad back the next day to see it, the tears rolled down his eyes as he saw his only daughter all grown up and in a wedding dress. All the planning was smooth sailing up to our wedding day.
I wanted a theme of classic elegance and this is exactly what it was. The weather was beautiful with not a cloud in the sky and the butterflies fluttering outside my dressing room. Our minister (Nick Prinsloo) was outstanding! He made us laugh throughout the ceremony and truly set the standard for the rest of the day. The venue, food, service and overall atmosphere was nothing short of perfect. The day went by so quickly and it truly was something out of a fairytale.
I would marry my husband everyday if I could. He is the most perfect man for me and is my forever. We have been through so much already together and our wedding day was our promise to each other that there will be tough times and there will be happy ones but as long as we are in it together anything is possible.
