Everyone told me that your wedding day is one of the most magical and specials days of your life. I believed them but I could never have imagined how spectacular our day would actually turn out to be.

We had a year to plan our day as I had my heart set on the month of May. Planning went smoothly, barring a few hiccups with chosen venues but we settled on Accolades Boutique Venue in Midrand, halfway between the two newly merged families. In hindsight, Someone was looking out for us and made sure we had the best venue with the most experienced staff that would make the planning and the day itself a pleasurable and easy experience!

I was so relaxed on the day. Everyone's advice to me before the time was "slow down, take it in, the day goes so fast!' And I can gladly say that I followed their advice. I had the most magical day that I just want to relive over and over. The day started with doing the aisle flower arrangements myself with the help of my mother, to making beautiful memories with my best friends and new sister-in-law, to seeing my dad for the first time and having to seriously choke back tears so that my make-up stayed in place for the ceremony, to the highlight of seeing my husband waiting at the end of the aisle with tears in his eyes and, of course, the partying with all of our family and friends after the ceremony! Absolutely everything about our day was perfect! I can honestly say that I wouldn't have changed a thing! My hope is that all brides have the same "out of this world" experience that I had on our day!

If our magical day is anything to go by, I know that our future will be just as blessed and full of love, joy and happy memories.
