On the 27th of May 2017, I married my best friend, soulmate, my chosen one and better half. Since 12 January 2011 I knew that he will forever be my happy place, the one I can rely and depend on. He is my person and now also my husband. I will love, cherish and honour him until the day I die.
He knows me better than what I could ever even imagine to know myself, he loves every bit of me and I love every single bit of him. We have put up with each other for almost 6 years now and I cannot wait for the rest of our lives together.
We praise our Dear Lord together, we laugh, pray, cry, celebrate, enjoy, live, hope and love together. There is NOTHING we don't tell each other. There is NOTHING we don't know of one another.
And just like any wedding day of any other couple, our day also had quite a few challenges and obstacles but other than all other weddings, the bride (me) only found out AFTER the wedding of all these little struggles on the day because my husband thought it well NOT to upset or worry his soon-to-be (now) wife. He is truly the most amazing man I could ever have been blessed with. Since the moment I set foot onto the aisle with my grandfather by my side, I cried and so did he, or rather...we balled our eyes out. Everything thereafter was merely PERFECT.
Our rehearsed dance that we totally messed up, was perfect in every imperfect way. Every little thing that WE knew went a little wrong was perfect in its own unique way.
My husband has NEVER looked AS handsome as on Our Wedding Day, and since that day he has just got even more handsome everyday and I am truly blessed to have married my best friend. I trust that our marriage will be blessed in abundance and I know even though there will be struggles, adventures, obstacles and challenges, there is nothing we cannot do because we have our Dear Lord by our side and as our Pastor gave us our special verse on our perfect day, I know we will overcome and do everything to the best of our abilities.
Our Day, Our Marriage & My Husband was everything and more I could of ever dreamed about.
Our day was Perfect in its own unique way!
