We met 3 and a half years ago at a Model Aircraft Fly-in at Worcester. Both our Dad's and my husband are Pilots but neither of us saw it coming.
I remember it like yesterday.
So we decided why not have the BIG DAY at the flying field here in Langebaan called AMSRCC... Maybe now the aeroplane in the photos will make sense. :)
The runway was the aisle and where we said I DO. I couldn't believe that a clubhouse can look the way it did. Absolute Heaven on Earth... Small but absolutely amazing.
To everyone who made our day Wonderful... Thank you so much...
Dad Kriel for the Aeroplane.
Dad Roberts for the Jeep as wedding Car.
Helen Thiart and assistant Lara the best photographers any bride can ask for.
Karen en Petro from Langebaan Catering and Spitbraai for all the decor, catering and flowers.
Chris van Staden for initiating our ceremony.
Dave Allam(captain) for being the most awesome master off ceremony.
and to all our family and friends that were part of our Big Day... You guys are awesome.
We went to Stilbaai for a long weekend with friends of ours not knowing that he asked my father a couple days before we left for my hand in marriage. the day after we arrived in Stilbaai he woke me up early the morning just before sunrise to take a walk on the beach... i did not expect what was going to happen next... we went for the walk and as we turned around to walk back to the house he said that he need to ask my something... so thats when my mind went into overdrive and thought of all possible questions he could ask except for the one he did. I carried on walking not looking at him only to realise he's not by my side anymore... as i turned around there he was on one knee with the most beautiful ring in his hand. I couldn't help but shed a couple tears of joy, 'coz I've been waiting for this day for so long... I ran into his arms and accepted and held on for as long as I could... As we walked the last bit back to the house, I think I had the biggest smile on my face. And so we entered the next big step in our Love Story.
