It was a fairy tale wedding.We had our wedding right on the beach with only a few close friends and family keeping it intimate
Unfortunatly there was no time for honeymoon.We did however spend the night in an exquisite geusthouse overlooking the sea which in itself was a little honeymoon
I had on a customized wedding dress.It was originally an all white dress which i got altered.I added in purple lace and some bling to it.I had on a pair of bling slippers to go with my dress and also a crown.In all I felt like a princess and the look on my husband's face said it all.That was a special moment.My hair was all black with purple extensions which made the crown stand out.
We got married in Gansbaai in the Overberg region right on the beach.The wedding reception was held at Bellamente geust house which was literally a 2min walk from the ceremony.All the guests stayed over at the guest house which was very convenient.
There weren't any special treatments or any sorts of that before the wedding.I got may nails done about 3 days before the wedding and the rest i got done on the day.
There were the chairs all draped in purple with a carpet also in purple running up the isle all covered with white rose petals.We had metal hearts also draped in purple lace next to each row of seats. We had this arch that we got married under draped in purple and white lace.At the reception we had this sort of mediterranean theme which was blue and white mixed with purple and silver.
The groom had on a pair of veld vellies with a tan coloured trousers and long white shirt.The outfit was rounded off with a piar of suspenders and a "old timers cap".
We chose not to have any bridesmaids or groomsmen.

We had a golf cart.On the front was this huge purple bow which was almost bigger than the golf cart
The food was prepared by Bellamente's staff.In place of a wedding cake we had cup cakes in purple blue and white.
We had all our music on a playlist on memory stick.
Our opening song to which we danced was on one memory stick and i had another memory stick for the song i walked in at the ceremony.In all there were 3 memory sticks and to be honest that made me stress a bit because the wrong memory stick could have been used at the wrong time
