This is like a fairytale .......
Our love story began when I was 3 years old. Fanie and I grew up together for a little while as he is much older than me. He use to come to our house to get maths classes from my dad, and as a little girl I was so excited everytime he came to our house, I use to put on my best dress and my hair was done and always gave my biggest smile when he walked in. When his parents visited, my father always told his father that his bringing up his daughter for Fanie.
Well they relocated to a part of Pretoria that was actually very close to our house but we never saw each other again. As the years passed we lost contact and the two fathers passed away.
You always have this one person in mind and always wondering how they are but you never make time to find them.
30 years later I got a facebook request and couldn't really place this person. I took about 1 week figuring out how I know this guy and I went onto his facebook profile and recognised his mother.
I realised that this is the person my father was bringing me up for..lol...so I accepted.
We started chatting and we brought up all the memories of the fathers and how they use to joke and say "I am bringing up my daughter for your son".
Well our fairytale started and we got married a year after.
We went on holiday and had a fantastic time. One night we were sitting outside watching the stars when he lid all the candles and was so romantic....
Later the evening he said that mosquitos was biting him and went inside....keep in mind I did not know what he was planning....so I thought it would be best if we go inside. I blew out all the candles and started packing up, when i got inside he asked me what are doing and I said the mosquitos are biting you so we can go inside....never the less .....I ran his romantic plan into the ground....so he had to think of something else...
Eventually we got engaged under the stars on the patio but without any candles.
Highlights of our wedding was the venue and my wedding dress. The venue is called Louig Giano at Mon Plaisir. A small Italian village with Clydesdale horses running in the street.
My dress was designed by Danie van Deventer and looked absolutely fantastic. He catered for everything we only had to show up.

My Hair was done by Elize from Heavenly Hair. I did my own make-up which was perfect for me. My dress was designed by Danie van Deventer and we said silwer shoes will suite the dress best. Jewellery and accessories was bought later on when the dress was finished.
We got married at Louig Giano @ Mon Plaisir and the guest stayed over at the venue which had stunning Italian rooms.
My regime for my wedding was only to be relaxed and take one day at a time. I went to gym as always and nothing extra was done.
The decor, venue and flowers was all supplied by Louig Giano. The decor stayed Italian with old books and candles on the table, the flowers was chosen by Danie van Deventer when I gave him our colour scheme which was avo green and light pink with white in between.

Xuisito, Alicia and her husband was so relaxed and made us feel like naturals. We were relaxed we made jokes in between and no stress was added to the day.

We did our own design on our wedding invites
We were naturals in dancing together. Our DJ was Roy and lighting was also done by Louig Giano.
