After six years of dating and three years of engagement we finally decided to tie the knot in April 2017.

We first met at the age of 13 and 11, at our best friends house, which conveniently were brother and sister. We spend some time together in primary school just as friend. We then lost contact with each other until we met up again in High School. Slowly friendship developed into romance and we started dating in November 2008.

Six years later in April 2014 he proposed when we were on a family holiday at Dikhololo Game Reserve, in the restaurant full of holiday goers like ourselves.

Planning the wedding for April 2017 was special. What a wonderful experience it was to be my own wedding coordinator and planner. Being a Graphic Designer really has its perks! With all the save the dates, invites and décor designed and crafted by hand allowed for more appreciation of how much goes into planning a wedding.
