We met at our schools gathering in 2009. Most my colleagues were already married so they all introduced themselves as "umabani wakabani" eg: MaMzolo Hlubi ( starting with maiden surname followed by your marriage surname).
And when my turn came i just laughed cz I was the only one single. I then asked what am I going to say since everyone is "mabani wakabani ", then hubby came to my rescue and said I must say I'm my surname (Mzolo) and added his "Hlubi". Wala... I did as I was told and introduced myself as MaMzolo Hlubi... The rest is history
The power of words...today I am really MaMzolo Hlubi.
Hahaha I always laugh when I see this one.
He is not such a romantic type hey, but I love him dearly nonetheless.
It was October 2014 when he just said it out of the blue...that he will send his uncles home. I laughed... Story of my life. Really didn't take him serious on this one until he asked me the date of when the uncles should come home.
