All brides remember their wedding day & we all had the most amazing day of our lives.
After waiting for our guests for almost an hour due to an overturned truck blocking the road into Hout Bay, we were so thankful that everybody stuck it out through the traffic & all made it, truly beautiful friends indeed.
Our wedding was a day I will never forget. Celebrating our Love for each other with our family & friends was truly special. I married the most amazing man in the world - my best friend & my twin flame.
Our whole day was a highlight.
We went on a road trip if SA, up the easy coast & venturing back to Cape Town through the Mario.
My look was not over the top. I wore a turquoise & purple dress made by Sarah, with no shoes.
My hair was lightly curled & had rises & baby's breath entertwined in it, special thanks to Kerry Maltman who owns Lords.
We got married on my sister in laws small holding in Hout Bay.
So our wedding being on a small holding, we stuck to the theme, with hay bales for seats & pallets for tables. Table were draped in purple material with candles & greenage as table decorations. Flowers were simple, white roses, baby's breath & greenage.
We had a stretch tent where tables & dance floor were.
Our dj (dj Alan Wickstrom) was suggested by David Harris our good friend who did our lights, sound (SMD Lighting) & organised the tent (Bedouin Company).
Groom & bestman both wore beige chinos white button up shirt eith sleeves rolled up.
Our bridesmaid wore a dress of her own design made by Sarah.
Our Marriage Officer was Geoff Jameson.
Our nephew Sven von Wildenrath took our pictures.
We used a photo frame & odd hats, glasses etc with a Land Rover as the backdrop.
Our friend Bridget Kuyser was our cake maker & planner. With the help of 2 of our amazing friend's - best man (Matthew Henstock) & bridesmaid (Christine Ugolini).
I was taken to our venue in our friend's (Nigel) 4x4, unconventional like our wedding day.
Our food was prepared & served (buffet style) by Rob.
Our gorgeous cake was made by Bridget Kuyser.
Our website, invitations & thank you gifts were designed by our friend Kevin Brumage
No dancing lessons for us, just our 4 left feet.
David Harris from SMD Lighting did our sound & light's. With dj Funky Al) who played all our favorite songs as well as request from our guests (these requests were pre-requested from our guests rsvp)
