We had most of our family and friends stay over, so seeing them all on the wedding morning was really special.
Getting ready with my bridesmaids was totally fun and I love the memories we created that day.

We went to my dream holiday destination, the Maldives, Cocoon resort. It was the perfect holiday to unwind after intense months of planning for the wedding.

My white dress was A line boobtube. It has lace and beaded work on it.
My indian outfit was a yellow/gold colour with red and gold beaded work on it.
My accessories for my white dress was Swarovski earrings, Swarovski bracelet, and a hair piece from Lovisa
For my indian outfit I wore red and gold accessories which included a choker, chain, earrings, bracelets and sirbundi.
We got married at Old Haliwell Country inn in the KZN midlands.
Most guests stayed at the venue and other booked around the area.
The accommodation was spacious and catered for families with babies. The host was so amazing and took fantastic care of my family and friends.
My decor theme was modern rustic.
For the outdoor ceremony we had an arch and flowers attached to the benches.
Inside, our center pieces consisted of bird cages with flowers inside, floating flowers in vases and bouquets on chandelier type pieces.
We had rustic arches on stage with flowers on them. My decor was done by Equisite events co.
The lighting was done by Kaptains lighting and it was phenomenal. We has lights outside on the trees and the entire hall was draped. It truly was a wedding of my dreams and I couldnt have asked for more.

Pierre van Maher. He made our ceremony so special. Controlled the crowd and read their mood. He made them laugh when required and got them into the seriousness of getting married with great anecdotes. People cried with tears of joy witnessing our ceremony

I was the planner and controlled all events. My husband created an excel document to allow the host, MC, Marriage officer, DJ to execute the procession of event's precisely. We didnt stress on the day as everything went according to plan.
We used Romi's catering and my husbands cousin made the spectacular wedding cakes.
We hired Durban Djs for the music and they did the sound and lighting.
My husbands cousins sang and played Ed Sheerans "Perfect" for our wedding dance.
Our retinue and friends eventually formed a circle around us as we ended our song. It was a memorable evening that plays in my mind when I think of happy thoughts.
