We had a beautiful farm wedding on the farm Buckshee in North West where my husband grew up and where we are living today.
The ceremony was held in the farm barn - decorated with hay bales and bunting to make it more festive. After the ceremony, canopies were served on the tractor trailor, decorated with bunting and hessian, drinks in wheelbarrows and our guests got to enjoy some games and the beautiful gardens while we were taking photos in the veld. Although freezing cold for April, the wind was kind to us and we had the most amazing sunset to finish off a perfect day.
The barn for our reception was decorated with white drapings, fairy lights and chinese lanterns. The colours were kept neutral to blend in with the farm athmosphere using a touch of mint to add some colour.
We had a lovely festive evening, surrounded by everyone we loved.
