Everybody will always tell you that you shouldn't worry if something doesn't go according to plan cause no one will notice...well everybody WILL notice if the pastor forgot about your wedding specially if your wedding day is on the 1st of April. When you realize nobody is playing a April fools joke on you and the Pastor is really not there believe me there is a moment of "o no, what now?" but luckily for us we got married locally and he was still in town so we managed to get a hold of him. So a few minutes later our wedding continued. At the end of the day it turned out to be a ice breaker, our guests had a good laugh at the irony and today its something that made sure none of our guests will easily forget our wedding.
Yes we did, we went to Zanzibar.
The dress did not go according to plan, it was way to long and not the exact design that I wanted but I made it work (I had to). My hair as well as all my bridesmaids,the 2 mothers and 2 flower girls hair was done by the owner of Style Secrets in Secunda. Our makeup was done by an makeup artist from Healty Halo. My Jewelry was Rose gold and most of it bought from Lovisa.
We got married at Willow Creek in Trichardt. All the guests that weren't local stayed over and it worked out perfect because everybody could enjoy themselves and didn't need to worry about driving far or anywhere for that matter seeing as the reception hall is +- 200m from the hotel. It's a beautiful venue with a chapel right next to the river.
