A real knight in shining armour story. We are school friends that rediscovered one another after Warren came to my rescue after I had been mugged in Durban where he stayed at the time.
Overlooking Oribi Gauge Warren went down on one knee. In a moment of honesty I say "Are you sure? I can be a horrible person sometimes." He laughed and said I was perfect for him.
With friends and family far and wide, our highlight was having all our loved ones together to celebrate with us. We will never forget the atmosphere heavy with love as we played rock, paper, scissors for a grandmothers handkerchief.
We spent our first week of marriage in Zanzibar, a friendly and warm place. We were very blessed to have made some great friends.
I am a fan of the French country look. I went with heavy lace, natural colours and soft make-up and hair.

We tied the knot at Pepermossie. The venue has a strong french appeal, with large fireplaces, heavy wooden tables and chairs, thick french lace tablecloths, silver candelabra and other beautiful french/country décor. A warm, beautifully elegant atmosphere.
Some guests stayed at the venue, and others in some of the many guesthouses in Bloemfontein. We stayed at the gorgeous, lavishly decorated Slot Lovenstein (features in our pictures)
