As a young girl you would always dream about your wedding day and when that day comes it is just wonderful. But one of the most memorable moments I have to say is when I walked down the isle towards my future husband. I was rushing forward while my dad try to hold me back and told me to listen as my brother sang me a song.
It was just wonderful we went to Beacon Island Resort in Plettenberg Bay. Best week ever as we went to different places to experience the sights there. From seeing animals to going to Tsitsikamma to do the canopy tours as well as the Segway tours. We then went up to PE and towards the Addo elephant park. We stopped on our way back in Mossel Bay for our last night. Best 2 weeks EVER.
For my wedding I wanted something casual and easy going. I did not want a fancy big wedding. I got exactly what I wanted.
For my hair I didn't want something fancy. If it fell out of place or got loose I don't want to stress about it so my hairdresser from Salon Marianne gave me the perfect hair.
Personally I don't wear make-up and know very little of it. So I asked my friend from Ingrid Schwella Professional Makeup Artistry to help me out and not make me look like a complete diffrent person. She did a wonderful job and I would recommend her to any one.
We got married at Ou Stal Equestrian Farm just outside of Stellenbosch. I did not want a big traditional wedding.
Lots and Lots of water was recommended. I did not have the time or money for treatments but my wonderful Maid of honor gave me a day at a massage therapist as a gift.
I have the best mom ever. The decor of the reception was done by a company called beanstalk functions but where the ceremony took place was all my mom and her friends. My mom made alot of the decor that beanstalk used on the inside as well even the confetti we used was my moms hard work.
I only had 2 girls but they were the best. Throughout this whole experience they were with me. When we were looking for dresses we wanted something that they can use again even if they hav to shorten them. We could not find anything in the shops but found a picture. So we asked the mom of one to make the dresses and they looked stunning. Definitely something they can wear again.
Illuminate Photography was used. Tabitha is such a wonderful person. She made me feel so relaxed and her photos were stunning. Would definitely recommend her.
RTM video productions was also used to capture our wedding. They did a great job on the day.
